Class VI Paper folding activity- Tesellations Activity: The children of Class VI A performed an activity Tesellations wherein they folded a sheet of paper into half. Again folded the sheet with creases. They folded the sheet to the maximum number of folds possible. As a result when the sheet was opened it had grids formed. The children counted the number of rows and columns. They correlated the grid of rows and columns to grids of rows and columns in spreadsheet software (Open office Calc).
Class VI Tic tac Toe game Activity: The children of class VI A played a game Tic Tac Toe in groups of two. By this activity the children understand that the game is played in grids and these grids are divided into rows and columns like a spreadsheet on computer.
Class  VII An activity on GIMP The children of class VII-A performed various activities on GIMP. 1. Created a rectangle using rectangle select tool and used bucket tool to fill it with yellow colour. 2. Created 3 rectangles filled with different colours and used text tool to write Welcome. 3. Using various eraser tool brushes like  star, line inside the rectangle
Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashmi will be celebrated on the 19th of October this year. Vijay refers to victory and Dashami refers to tenth . This popular Hindu festival, celebrated at the end of Navratri each year. It signifies the victory of good over evil. The word Dussehra is derived from the Sanskrit words "dasha" and "hara" which mean "ten" and "defeat" respectively.                                         Dussehra is celebrated in different ways in different parts of India. In West Bengal, Durga Puja celebrations begin on Sashti or sixth day of Navratri and continue till Vijayadashmi - when idols of Goddess Durga are immersed in water bodies. It is believed that Durga led a nine days and nine nights battle against the demon Mahishasur and killed him on the tenth day. Therefore, the different manifestations of goddess Durga are worshipped during the nine-day long Navratri festival each year and the tenth day is dedicated
Class III The children of class III-A Cambridge made a square and rectangle using MSW Logo program. Commands used were Forward (FD), Backward(BK), Right Turn(RT), Clear screen, Hide Turtle etc.
Class V The children of class V - A made a flowchart of traffic signal using various symbols of flowchart and also made a loop in the flowchart.
Class VIII-A The children of class VIII-A performed a group activity where they had to discuss and write the names of the stories depicted by the pictures. They also found which one is better way of depicting a story.
Unified Cyber Olympiad UCO-2018 Unified cyber Olympiad was conducted for Cambridge students from class II to VIII. It was an MCQ paper. Timing was an hour to solve all the questions. Questions were based on logical reasoning and computers.
