URL
2. It is the address of a web page.
3. Each page has its own unique web address (URL).
4. This is how your computer locates the web page that you are trying to find.
5. An example of a URL is:http://funbrain.com/index.html.
6. In this example URL, funbrain.com is called the domain name. The "index.html" refers to the specific page.
IP ADDRESS
It is a unique string of numbers separated by full stops that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network.
Eg: 199.29.90.8
The "IP" part of IP address stands for "Internet Protocol." The "address" part refers to a unique number that gets linked to all online activity you do...somewhat like a return address on a letter you'd send out. (All this happens in milliseconds.)
